Returns Policy

Sway Curtains products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


READY MADE PRODUCTS

If you are not truly satisfied with your choice of ready-made products, we will gladly exchange or refund your purchase when returned in its original, like-new condition, with proof of purchase, within 10 days of receiving the product.


CUSTOM MADE PRODUCTS

Notwithstanding to any other provision of Sway Curtains conditions of sale, custom made products manufactured to your unique measurements and specifications, cannot be cancelled or returned if the you decide you no longer want the products.


CUSTOM MADE ORDERS MEASURED BY CUSTOMER

Whilst we understand that measuring mistakes do happen, once an order has entered into production any customer changes will incur additional costs.


CHANGING OR CANCELING AN ORDER

As per our conditions of sale, once an order has entered production you cannot cancel or make any changes to the order. Sway Curtains will not accept a cancellation for change of mind by a customer, unless Sway Curtains chooses to do so at its absolute discretion. If Sway Curtains does accept a cancellation, the customer must pay an amount to Sway Curtains which in Sway Curtains reasonable view reflects the loss that Sway Curtains has incurred as a consequence of the cancellation (including but not limited to storage fees and any mark down). Sway Curtains shall set off this amount against the deposit already paid to us by the customer for this custom made product, and refund the balance.


RETURNS POLICY OF DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Please be sure to inspect your curtains as soon as you receive them and contact us immediately (within 5 days) if there is any damage. We can arrange repairs or replacements for you at no charge. In most cases photographic evidence will be required.


OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Sway Curtains reserves the right not to offer a refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse, neglect or the result of normal wear and tear. Sway Curtains cannot be responsible for product that is altered, either by the customer, or another provider, and as a result is damaged and/or does not fit. Any repairs or replacement carried out at the request of the customer, that is not covered by our policies may incur charges.


REFUNDS Authorisation of refunds only happens once products have been received by Sway Curtains and details of the return have been confirmed and authorised by our team.
